Compliance & Legal Society

The Compliance and Legal Society focuses on education, communication, and advocacy for compliance and legal professionals in the securities industry. The Society also works to facilitate communication between the industry and the regulatory community on key issues.


Financial Management Society

The Financial Management Society fosters the development of the financial management function of the industry through educational events, research, and development of common accounting principles and practices.


Internal Auditors Society

The Internal Auditors Society provides a forum for the exchange of information and the discussion of internal auditing and internal controls within the securities industry. Members include internal auditors from banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies, mutual funds, public accounting firms and self-regulatory agencies associated within the securities industry.


Operations and Technology Society

The Operations and Technology Society is comprised of six Sections organized along business lines. Each section offers unique educational and networking opportunities, yet is also strengthened by a collective affiliation in the Operations and Technology Society.

The Data Management Section (DMS) is now consolidated into the Securities Operations Section (SOS) of SIFMA. For more information about the combined group, please click here.

 SII Society

The SII Society was founded for those who desire to continue their leadership development via executive education. The group connects SII alumni, students and prospects to the Institute and its teachings to foster a year-round community providing networking and professional development opportunities.
