SIFMA is a member-driven organization focused on advocacy, action and access. Through our work with our diverse membership representing the nation’s securities industry we strive to help our members make a positive impact on society by fostering and building market resilience and financial independence.
As the voice for the U.S. securities industry, we convene financial professionals from hundreds of broker-dealers, investment banks and asset managers. Together, we advocate on legislation, regulation and business policy that supports effective and resilient capital markets. SIFMA also serves as an industry coordinating body to promote fair and orderly markets, informed regulatory compliance, and efficient market operations and resiliency. We also provide a forum for industry policy and professional development, with events that foster meaningful conversations about the capital markets.
