Participants will progress through a series of exercises and activities that will teach them several different and complementary design thinking strategies that they can apply to a variety of challenges or business circumstances.  There will be real world example, encouraged discussion and feedback through polling.

Course Description

Our financial, health and societal systems have been mightily disrupted by the pandemic and entrepreneurs, leaders and organizations all around, are scrambling to figure out new innovative ways to transform and adapt to this unprecedented time.

Design Unplugged is an unfiltered, real world clinic on how creativity, design and human-centered problem solving can help SIFMA participants unlock innovation promise. In this session participants will learn what design thinking is and the importance design thinking methods have on business change and the financial services industry.

• Understand the process of design thinking and the role design management andrelated critical thinking approaches play in the securities industry
