James F. Dixon III

James F. Dixon, III is the Executive Managing Director of the Southern Region at Stifel Financial Corporation. Dixon’s career as a Financial Advisor began in 1994 after being accepted into Sterne Agee & Leach’s Financial Advisor training program.  Prior to joining Stifel in 2015, Mr. Dixon had served as Executive Managing Director and Head of the Private Client Group since 2008. Dixon serves on the Regional Board of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and as a member of the Private Client Services Committee and Retail Fixed Income Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. He is also a past President of the Alabama Security Dealers Association and past officer of the Birmingham Bond Club.  Mr. Dixon received a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Alabama.
