Craig W. Hupper

Craig Hupper is Senior Vice President and Managing Director of TransRe Capital Partners, the retrocession and insurance-linked securities practice of New York-based TransRe group. Craig joined TransRe in 1998 and served in underwriting and ceded retrocession roles before establishing the Risk Management group in 2005 and the Capital Partners team in 2013.

Craig previously held consulting, business development and marketing positions with Price Waterhouse, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Progressive Insurance, and Aon Risk Services. He received his BA in Government from Bowdoin College and his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Craig holds Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations, and is a member of Financial Executives International.
