Whitney Evans

Whitney Evans is currently an Assistant Director for the Option Regulatory Surveillance Authority (“ORSA”) at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), where she manages a team of investigators that surveille the options market for potential insider trading. In her role, she refers activity that presents risk to the integrity of the U.S. markets and she collaborates with other financial regulators and criminal authorities.  Whitney moved to Chicago in 2014 and prior to joining FINRA she briefly worked for the City of Chicago Legal Department, Building & License Enforcement Division. Whitney joined FINRA as an Investigator for ORSA in 2015 and was promoted to manager in 2017. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a dual degree in Political Science and Communications and received her JD from American University, Washington College of Law.
