Michael L. Crowl
Michael Crowl is a Group Managing Director and General Counsel for UBS Group Americas and UBS Wealth Management Americas (WMA) based in New York and New Jersey. He sits on both the UBS Wealth Management Americas Executive Committee and the UBS Americas Executive Committee, as well as the global UBS Legal Executive Committee.
Michael joined UBS from Barclays in July 2014. He spent 8 years at Barclays, where he was a General Counsel for the Americas from 2010 to 2014 and Global General Counsel from 2007 to 2010 for Barclays Global Investors.
Prior to Barclays Global Investors, Michael was a Managing Director and General Counsel of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs from 2004 to 2007. He was General Counsel of Goldman Sachs Asia in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2004. Michael started at Goldman Sachs in
1994. He began his career in 1986 at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Michael is a member of the Managing Board of The Clearing House Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).
Michael received his JD from New York University and his BS from Penn State University.
