Course Description

  The Agility or Adaptability Quotient:
  • John explains the difference and relevance between IQ, EQ and AQ
  • All are familiar with the term change management or something to that effect; but developing one’s Agility or Adaptability Quotient puts the individual or organization in charge of the situation or challenge
  • People are more comfortable and confident when in a proactive mindset when dealing with change or uncertainty
  • If change management or other is the mindset or communicated, it can be perceived as having to adjust to what is around you or happening to you and can elicit reactive or defensive responses
  • Fostering a company culture and personal mindset to exercise and increase your Adaptability or Agility Quotient (AQ) is vital
  • A strong AQ culture empowers business owners and their employees to view or create change as an opportunity that they drive, not something that drives them

The COVID crisis will be with us longer than anyone expected and the impact is more far-reaching
  • Many are now past the triage stage of reinventing their businesses, products, services, processes, and workforces; John will share his ideas on shifting to thinking longer-term
  • Have you adjusted your mid or long-term strategies?
  • Have you formally thought about or adjusted your strategic, and internal/external execution plans?
  • Have you clearly communicated this with your teams and assigned accountable parties and timelines

Learning Objectives:
  • To accelerate accountability—reward doers, not talkers
  • To accelerate impact—transform chaos into elegance
  • To accelerate success—be a talent fanatic
  • To accelerate your brand—know what business you are in and what you need to become
  • To accelerate sales—be the customer
  • To accelerate your ability to serve your internal and external customers by keeping pace and meeting/exceeding evolving standards of service
  • To accelerate leadership—be a living example of the qualities you want to see in others
