Underwriting Activities of Financial Advisors

Summary

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provides comments to the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) on underwriting activities of financial advisors (Rule G-23), Notice 2005-57. TBMA believes MSRB Rule G-23 is a successful and well-drafted rule, and there is not a need for changes at this time.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
