SIFMA’s European Securities Services Forum (ESSF) provides comments to the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) on competition concerns relating to clearing and settlement in the derivatives markets. ESSF shares concerns that derivatives exchanges starting their own clearing functions will limit competition at the clearing and trading levels.
