FASB’s Invitation to Comment – Agenda Consultation
SIFMA provided comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on its Invitation to Comment - Agenda Consultation (the “ITC”).
The Asset Management Group (AMG) of SIFMA provides comments to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in advance of the issuance of any proposed rules relating to position limits under Section 737 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the Dodd-Frank Act). The AMG cautions the CFTC that position limits established at too restrictive levels and without appropriate exclusions present the danger of unintended consequences.
