The Asset Management Group (AMG) of SIFMA provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the re-proposed registration and transaction requirements for shelf registration of asset-backed securities (ABS), RIN 3235-AK37; Number S7-08-10.

SIFMA AMG focuses its comments on three areas:

  • the re-proposal of shelf eligibility requirements;
  • issues related disclosure;
  • privately issued structured finance products.
