The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the proposed rules that would implement the financial provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB Act), File No. S7-6-00 (Regulation S-P). SIA shares concerns that are common to all of the privacy regulations issued by the regulatory agencies under the GLB Act.
