The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Federal Reserve), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on an interim rule amending market risk rules, Federal Reserve Docket No. R-1087, OCC Docket No. 00-28. The rule revises the capital treatment for cash collateral posted in connection with certain securities borrowings. SIA offers their support for the proposal.
