SIA and the ABA Submit Comments to the SEC Requesting the Extension of the Comment Period for Proposed Regulation FD

Summary

The Securities Industry Association (SIA) and the American Bar Association’s (ABA’s) Committee on Federal Regulation of Securities provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requesting a 30-day extension (until Apil 28, 2000) of the comment period for proposed Regulation FD, File No. S7-31-99.  The groups detail their reasons for the request.
