The Pensions Protection Act

Summary

The Asset Managers Forum (AMF) of The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provides comments to the U.S. House Education and the Workforce Committee on the Pensions Protection Act (H.R.2830), pending in the Committee.  The AMF recommends that Congress consider including a provision in the H.R.2830 that would amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) to permit active cross-trading.

*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
