TBMA Submits Comments to the SEC on a Proposal Relating to Market Data Fees and Structures

Summary

The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the SEC’s concept release on market data fees and structure, Securities Exchange Act Release No. 42208, File No. S7-28-99.  TBMA’s primary concern with the market data structure is whether the underlying principles of the existing system should automatically extend throughout the securities markets. 
*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
