SIFMA’s Listed Options Trading Committee provides comments to Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) to bring to their attention concerns about the options trading strategy known as “dividend trading.”
This strategy has raised a number of issues over the years, and SIFMA believes it now could pose a risk to members of the OCC. SIFMA would like to work with OCC, the options exchanges, and the regulators to develop a way to address the issues arising from the strategy.
