SIFMA provides comments to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System regarding proposed guidance on sound incentive compensation policies, Board Policies Docket No. OP-1374. SIFMA is in agreement with the core principles outlined, however, we recommend that the final guidance confirm that firms may consider risk-taking incentives on a group rather than individual basis. Included with the letter are methods to avoid unintended consequences.
