SIFMA provides comments to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on Regulatory Notice 11-28: Comments on Proposal to Amend Schedule A of the FINRA By-Laws to establish an accounting support fee to fund the annual budget of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued an order requiring FINRA to establish a reasonable annual accounting support fee (GASB Accounting Support Fee) to adequately fund the annual budget of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), pursuant to Section 19(g) of the Securities Act of 1933.
