FASB’s Invitation to Comment – Agenda Consultation
SIFMA provided comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on its Invitation to Comment - Agenda Consultation (the “ITC”).
The Coalition to Preserve Arbitration provides comments to the U.S. Senate on the Arbitration Fairness Act, S.1782. The Coalition includes SIFMA, other associations and companies who are opposed to the legislation. The Coalition believes legislation would effectively abolish pre-dispute arbitration agreements as a way to fairly, quickly and easily resolve consumer, employment, and franchise related contractual disputes, as well as disrupt commercial arbitration well beyond the bill’s advertised scope.
