FASB’s Invitation to Comment – Agenda Consultation
SIFMA provided comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on its Invitation to Comment - Agenda Consultation (the “ITC”).
SIFMA, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), and the Regional Bond Dealers Association provide comments to the Office of Tax Policy within the U.S. Department of Treasury on guidance to clarify the existing regulatory framework for tax-exempt bonds relating to price determination. The group recommends then applying the improved tax-exempt bonds regulatory framework to Build America Bonds (BABs).
