FASB’s Invitation to Comment – Agenda Consultation
SIFMA provided comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on its Invitation to Comment - Agenda Consultation (the “ITC”).
SIFMA and the American Securitization Forum (ASF) provide its second set of comments to U.S. House Financial Services Committee on the Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act of 2007, H.R.3915. Since concerns still remain about the legislation, the groups cannot offer their support. The groups also note their opposition to amendments filed by Congressmen Brad Miller (D-N.C.) and Mel Watt (D-N.C.). The groups share their observations and recommendations on the legislation.
