Summary

The Global FX Division of SIFMA, AFME and ASIFMA provide comments to the U.S. Department of Treasury on the U.S. Treasury Secretary’s proposed determination to exempt foreign exchange swaps and forwards from clearing and trading requirements under the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) pursuant to the authority granted to the Secretary under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 (Dodd-Frank Act).
