The ad hoc Committee on Electronic Bluesheeting of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on proposed Rule 17a-25, which would significantly expand the role of the “electronic blue sheet” questionnaire forms (EBS), File No. S7-12-00.  SIA believes that in some respects the proposal may be more expensive and burdensome to implement than the Release acknowledges.
