FASB’s Invitation to Comment – Agenda Consultation
SIFMA provided comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on its Invitation to Comment - Agenda Consultation (the “ITC”).
The Options Committee (Committee) of the Securities Industry Association (SIA)* provides comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on a proposal submitted by the American Stock Exchange LLC (Amex), the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Inc. (CBOE), the International Securities Exchange (ISE), the Pacific Exchange (PCX), and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Inc.(PHLX) relating to options linkage plans, File No. 4-429. SIA believes generally that the adoption of an appropriate inter-market linkage for listed equity options will allow the member firms to better serve their customers. SIA observes that CBOE, Amex and ISE have submitted identical proposals, but both PCX and PHLX have submitted separate proposals. SIA encourages resolution of the differences in the proposals.
*SIFMA is the product of a merger between the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and The Bond Market Association (TBMA) in 2006.
