The Securities Industry Association (SIA)* and The Bond Market Association (TBMA)* provide comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the New York Stock Exchange, Inc. (NYSE) merger with Archipelago Holdings, Inc., File No. SR-NYSE-2005-77, Amendments Nos. 6 and 8.  The Associations reiterate they do not oppose the merger, and highlight two areas of concern that can be fixed without having to challenge or re-open any aspect of the NYSE-Archipelago merger.
