Summary

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) responds to comments filed by SIFMA on avoidance powers under the Orderly Liquidation Authority Title (OLA) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).  The FDIC provides SIFMA, and another association that had filed comments, with clarification on how the FDIC will interpret the OLA and reconcile the differences with the Bankruptcy Code.
