Long-term securities issuance totaled $1.9 trillion in 3Q’18, a 3.2 percent decline from $1.96 trillion in 2Q’18 but a 4.7 percent increase year-over-year. All sectors except mortgage-related securities experienced q-o-q declines in the third quarter.
