US Quarterly Highlights, Third Quarter 2015
Long-term securities issuance totaled $1.62 trillion in 3Q’15, a 11.0 percent decrease from $1.82 trillion in 2Q’15 but a 2.4 percent increase year-over-year. The asset classes that recorded the largest quarterly increases were Treasury and agency, up 1.0 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively, while all other classes declined quarter-over-quarter.
