Maurice Schweitzer

Maurice Schweitzer is the Cecilia Yen Koo Professor; Professor of Operations, Information and Decisions; Professor of Management at the Wharton School, and a co-author of “Friend & Foe: When to Compete, When to Cooperate, and How to Succeed at Both.” His research interests include negotiations, emotions, deception, and trust. He has studied deception in apologies, trash talking, and what types of questions elicit the most honest responses. His work has appeared in a number of journals and books including Management Science, the Academy of Management Journal, and the American Economic Review.  He is the past President of the International Association for Conflict Management.
