James Barry

James Barry is the Senior Vice President of Treasury and Capital Risk for Stifel Financial Corp. He is responsible for the overall treasury and capital management of the company including balance sheet management, cash & liquidity management, and bank regulatory reporting. Prior to joining Stifel in 2014, James served in a variety of finance and accounting roles at Scottrade. He started his career as Assurance Associate at PwC after graduating with Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from University of Missouri. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Series 99 holder.

James enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is passionate about helping the St. Louis community and serves on the development board for BackStoppers. BackStoppers provides ongoing needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of all police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
