Brian Steele

Brian is global co-head of Market Structure Solutions for Global Banking & Markets. He focuses on market structure, industry digitization and fintech partnerships. Brian was previously global head of Digital Transformation for the Operations Division. Prior to that, he was global head of Exchange and Clearance Operations, global head of Trading Operations and global head of Control and Quality Management Operations. Brian joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2004 and was named managing director in 2017.

Brian serves on the Board of Directors of Access Fintech, Droit, Acadia and Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) Institutional Trade Processing.  He is Vice Chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Operations and Technology Committee, and the Goldman Sachs representative for the Utilities Group of the Financial Services Forum.

Brian earned a BS in Business Administration from Ithaca College.
