Adrienne B. Pitts

Adrienne B. Pitts is Managing Director, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Loop Capital, LLC, a large, privately-held investment bank, broker-dealer and asset management firm. Pitts is responsible for all legal aspects of the firm’s business units, including corporate finance, equity sales and trading, equity research, public finance, and its infrastructure private equity joint venture with Magic Johnson Enterprises, JLC Infrastructure. She also oversees its board and corporate governance matters. Pitts joined Loop after twenty years in private practice at three international law firms and has the rare background of having practiced as both a trial lawyer and a corporate lawyer. After litigating bet-the-company antitrust and securities cases and trying numerous federal white-collar criminal cases as an associate and partner, she transitioned to corporate as a partner, working on numerous M&A and divestiture deals. Pitts graduated from Boston University School of Law and earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves as an independent director of a publicly traded REIT. She is a frequent speaker at financial and legal conferences and has published opinion articles on gender and race.
