
Thomas M. Crescioli, CFA
Tom is a Portfolio Manager in the private markets group and a member of the Asset
Allocation Committee for Lockheed Martin Investment Management Company. In this
capacity, Tom performs due diligence and manager selection across buyout, venture,
real estate, credit, and natural resources investments and provides input to the asset
allocation team for strategic and tactical positioning in global capital markets.
Tom joined Lockheed in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles at LMIMCo including
asset allocation, derivative trading, asset manager selection and portfolio construction
across equity, fixed income, commodity, absolute return, and private equities. Tom has
spearheaded innovative cross asset class solutions including constructing the initial
glidepath for the DC plan’s target date fund suite, undertaking physical commodity
trading, delivery, and storage, creating a leveraged (unfunded) portfolio of commodity-
focused absolute return hedge funds, and redesigning the DC stable value fund. Tom
also led first-in-industry initiatives to secure a private equity NAV loan for an ERISA
pension and most recently, a private equity fund implemented for defined contribution
plans.
Tom previously was the Senior Investment Analyst at USEC Inc., where he designed and
implemented investment policy for their retirement plans, and he was a Vice President &
Trust Officer at Wachovia Bank’s Capital Management Group where he advised
Endowment, Foundation, and high net worth clients on investment strategies.
Tom is a CFA Charterholder, has an MBA from George Mason University and a BSBA
from the University of Richmond.
