Rosario Chiarenza

Rosario Chiarenza is an Executive Director in the Legal and Compliance Division and the Chief Compliance Officer for Morgan Stanley’s principal Swap Dealer. Rosario focusses on planning and implementing regulatory change initiatives as well as overseeing the Morgan Stanley’s global swap dealer program. He is also the Co-Chair of SIFMA’s Dodd Frank Compliance Roundtable and a frequent speaker at ISDA and FIA conferences, where he often discusses issues surrounding global derivatives regulation. Previously, Rosario was counsel at ISDA where he covered US regulatory and policy matters both at the federal and state level and was responsible for documentation and legal projects across all asset classes.

Mr. Chiarenza graduated from Johns Hopkins University majoring in International Relations and received his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was an articles editor of the Cardozo Law Review.
