Robert Kaiser

Managing Director BNP Paribas

Robert Kaiser is currently a Managing Director of Business Continuity at BNP Paribas – Americas. In this role he oversees the implementation of business continuity and crisis management programs for BNPP’s Corporate and Investment Banking division in North America, as well as BC oversight for the firm’s regional Integrated Holding Company activities and Latin American region.

Mr. Kaiser was formerly Director of Business Continuity for the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Sales and Trading division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role he provided strategic, cooperative oversight to the global GM business continuity program in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, with hands on management of the domestic BC program.

Mr. Kaiser was also formerly a Director of Operational Risk and Control at Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of The Bank of New York.

Mr. Kaiser formerly chaired the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) Business Continuity Planning Committee.

Mr. Kaiser received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1984 and a Masters Degree in Technology Management in 1994 from Stevens.  He holds Series 7, 79, and 24 NASD licensing registrations.
