Michael Broadbery

Michael is global head of Global Markets Compliance. He serves as a member of the Global Compliance Operating Committee, the Global Markets Division Operating Committee, the Securities Division Automated Trading Controls Committee and the Firmwide Suitability Committee. Michael is a managing director advisor to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network. Previously, he was head of Asia Pacific Securities Division Compliance and co-chief compliance officer for GS Asia Bank. Michael joined Goldman Sachs in Compliance in London in 2003 and moved to Hong Kong in 2006 to become head of Asia Pacific Ex-Japan Equities Compliance. He became head of Asia Pacific Securities Division Compliance in 2011. Michael was named managing director in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked in Compliance at Lehman Brothers and at Barclays Capital.
