Jennifer Povlitz

Division Director UBS

Jennifer leads the West Division for UBS Wealth Management, including over 3,000 employees and $2.5 billion in revenues. She is a member of the executive committee for Wealth Management Americas. UBS is the preeminent global wealth manager in the world, helping affluent families plan, preserve and express their values and purpose through wealth decisions. In addition, Jennifer is Co-Chair of Americas Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. She is also an Advisory Board member for UBS’s women’s network after helping to build 25 chapters in the U.S. She was chosen to teach leadership development to other UBS leaders.

Prior to UBS, Jennifer was Head of the Executive Client Relationship Group leading private wealth management services for ultra-high net worth clients with Merrill Lynch and US Trust. Prior to that role, Jennifer led Merrill Lynch’s Pacific Northwest Region from San Francisco, overseeing 43 branch offices, 800 Advisors and over $150 Billion in client assets. While leading Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking (private
wealth) group in New York, she doubled the business by aligning channels to client industries and creating alliances through specialization.

Jennifer received the “Most Powerful & Influential Woman” award from the National Diversity Council. Jennifer was recognized as a Woman of Influence in Banking by the Los Angeles Business Journal. She is also a member of NACD, National Association of Corporate Directors, and WCD, Women Corporate Directors. She serves on the Board of GigX, a private company for C-suite fractional leadership service through technology. Orange County Business Journal named her one of the region’s “Woman of the Year” honorees. San Francisco Business Times named Jennifer as Bay Area’s “Forever Influential Women in Business” 2015-2019. In 2005
she was named New York Crain’s “Top 40 under 40 Executives”.

In 2014, Jennifer earned her MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and received their Distinguished Leadership Award. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.

Jennifer is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), serving on the Board in Southern California for 3 years. She joined C200, an invite-only group of CSuite women who lead businesses over $250 Million in revenues. Jennifer adores her husband, their two children and prioritizes family, faith and impact.
