Claire Tafelski

Claire Tafelski is a Deputy General Counsel of Stifel Financial Corp., where she provides legal advice on asset management, investment advisory and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Stifel in 2015, she was the Chief Compliance Officer of Southpoint Capital Advisors, LP, a multi-billion dollar long-short equity hedge fund manager. Prior to joining Southpoint, Ms. Tafelski worked for Davidson Kempner Capital Management, LLC and Bridgewater Associates, LP. Ms. Tafelski obtained a LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from Emory School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Rutgers University.
