Head of Capital and Liquidity Management JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Al is the head of Capital and Liquidity Management at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He is responsible for end-to-end oversight of the firm’s balance sheet management which includes stress testing (CCAR/CLAR) and the firm’s Resolution and Recovery Plans.

Prior to his current role, Al spent five years as the Treasurer of the Corporate and Investment Bank (“CIB”) line of business where he was responsible for the implementation of numerous post-crisis reforms across the trading and wholesale banking business.  Al joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2006 as an interest rate options trader before moving to the risk department where he managed the firm’s derivatives funding and collateral risk on the XVA desk.

He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Quantitative Strategies group before starting to trade interest rate options.

During his career, Al worked in Tokyo (7y) and London (3y), before resettling in his hometown New York in 2009.

Al graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
