US Quarterly Highlights, Second Quarter 2016
Long-term securities issuance totaled $1.90 trillion in 2Q’16, a 13.8 percent decrease from $1.67 trillion in 1Q’16 and a 2.1 percent increase year-over-year. All asset classes experienced an increase q-o-q in the second quarter, although mortgage-related, corporate, asset-backed securities and equities experienced a decline year-over-year.
