Talis Seja is the Chief Legal Officer of Fidelity Digital Asset Services, LLC. As the lead counsel supporting the launch and development of Fidelity’s digital asset custody and trading business, Talis works closely with the senior management team on all legal and regulatory matters affecting the company. Talis also collaborates with leaders across Fidelity on new products and initiatives involving blockchain technology and digital assets. Before joining Fidelity, Talis practiced finance, derivatives, and banking law at law firms in Boston, New York City, and Washington D.C. He is a graduate of the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law Center and also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition to his legal practice, Talis previously served as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia for Massachusetts.
