Christopher Blanchard

Chris Blanchard is the Vice President of Alternative Investments within the Operations and Services Group, a division of Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology (FBOT). FBOT is a division of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits
outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 27 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.

Mr. Blanchard is responsible for all brokerage processes related to the custody of Alternative Investments on Fidelity’s custodial platform. Mr. Blanchard joined Fidelity in 2009 as a due diligence Analyst within the Alternative Investments team. He became Head of Alternative Investment Brokerage Operations in July of 2021.

Mr. Blanchard holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Japanese from Pennsylvania State University. He also holds NASD Series 7and 24 licenses. His industry participation includes being a co-chair for DTCC’s AIP Advisory Council, co-chair for the ICI-BDAC Alternative Investment Group, the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives, SIFMA AMG’s Alternative Investment Roundtable and NICSA’s Alternative Investments Group. Mr. Blanchard is also a Board Member of the Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail in Fort Worth, TX.
