Martin Bell is a litigation partner at Simpson Thacher and founder and co-chair of its Anti-Discrimination and DEI Advisory Practice. A former federal prosecutor at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York over ten years, Martin prosecuted public corruption, criminal civil rights, and securities fraud matters, among others, over ten years. A seasoned, first-chair trial lawyer, Martin has been recognized among the “500 Leading Litigators in America” by Lawdragon, as a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal, as “Up and Coming” by Chambers, and as one of Crain’s New York Business’ “Notable Black Leaders.”
A graduate of Harvard Law School and Harvard College, Martin serves on the Board of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
