Joe Earnhardt

Director, Head of Retail Compliance, Charles Schwab

In his role, Joe is responsible for supporting Charles Schwab’s Retail Sales, Service, Strategy, and Supervision organizations, including their more than 300 branches across the country and nearly 7,000 dedicated service representatives. Joe is also responsible for Sales Practice and Advice Oversight across Schwab’s varying legal entities, with particular focus on broker-dealer activity. Prior to joining Schwab in 2020, Joe held Compliance and Risk leadership roles at TD Ameritrade, Fidelity Investments, and Merrill Lynch over his more than 20 years in the industry, supporting retail, institutional, workplace, trading, clearing, and custody functions.
