Gina Parlovecchio

Gina Parlovecchio is a partner in Mayer Brown’s New York office, where she is co-chair of the Global Investigations & White Collar Defense practice. Corporate and individual clients turn to Gina for representation in internal and government investigations and white collar criminal defense, particularly on matters regarding anti-money laundering, securities fraud, sanctions violations, cryptocurrency-related offenses, healthcare fraud and campaign finance violations. Drawing on her background prosecuting cross-border matters, Gina also advises clients on international investigations.

From 2009-2020, Gina served in the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she was Chief of the International Narcotics and Money Laundering Section and prosecuted cases across a wide spectrum of subject matters. Gina tried numerous criminal jury trials and served as lead counsel in the prosecution of notorious drug kingpin, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera.
She received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.
