Summer Taylor is a CPA and business advisor with over 25 years of experience advising the C-suite and boards on how to navigate complex financial reporting, risk management strategies, maintain regulatory compliance and achieve financial goals. In her role as Managing Director at Deloitte, she provides auditing, financial reporting, accounting, advisory and consulting services to publicly traded and privately held retail and consumer products companies ranging in size from start up to $18B+ in revenues. Summer has served as an advisor on numerous IPOs, public & private debt offerings, M&A transactions and private equity transactions. In addition, she has direct experience guiding management through the complexities in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting. She brings deep corporate governance experience through her work with corporate and not for profit boards. She is a sought-after speaker where she has led educational sessions for CalCPA, the AICPA, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and CSUF Center for Corporate Reporting & Governance (CCRG).
