Matt Stauffer

Matthew Stauffer is Senior Vice President, Head of Back Office
Solutions at FIS Capital Markets. He is responsible for leading
post-trade solutions and services for buy- and sell-side clients
including securities processing, tax reporting, investment
operations and private capital.

Prior to joining FIS in 2023, Matt was Managing Director, Head
of Institutional Trade Processing at DTCC and President &
CEO, DTCC ITP LLC. He was responsible for overseeing
DTCC’s middle-office trade processing solutions, including
CTM, OASYS, TradeSuite ID and ALERT as well as the GMEI
utility.

Before this, Matt was CEO of Clarient Global LLC, an industry
consortium dedicated to helping firms meet client data and
documentation needs for internal onboarding as well as comply
with a broad range of regulatory requirements. During his time at DTCC, he was also Managing
Director, Strategy and Business Development at DTCC, where he was responsible for developing
common industry platforms across DTCC’s middle-office businesses. Matt was also head of
DTCC’s Business Transformation Office, where he was responsible for assessing and
reengineering structures and processes to deliver greater business value.

Matt has over 25 years of global consulting and financial services industry experience, including
strategy, business development, operations and technology.

Prior to joining DTCC in 2004, he worked at Accenture in their Financial Services Transformation
practice, focused on organizational transformation and business re-engineering.

Matt graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
