Mack Gill

Mack is currently Head of Securities Processing at FIS Capital Markets, responsible for driving FIS’ global post-trade solutions for the securities markets. Previously, he was COO & Board Member of Torstone Technology, a leading global SaaS platform for post-trade securities and derivatives processing and risk management, acquired by FIS. Mack was also a co-founder of Yaala Labs, a next generation platform for financial market infrastructure. Previously Mack was CEO of MillenniumIT, a software subsidiary of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) powering over 40 exchanges around the world.

Mack has been in the financial technology industry since 1994, first working for one of the largest global financial software companies, SunGard (now part of FIS). In 2004 Mack became President of SunGard Technology Services.

From 2014-2017 Mack was identified as one of the top trading technology leaders in the financial services industry by Institutional Investor Magazine. In 2018 Mack was named one of the “Top 25 FinTech Innovators” by Harrington Starr. Mack was chosen as a member of the Young Global Leaders, an affiliate of the World Economic Forum; and is a board member of the International Association for Quantitative Finance (IAQF). Mack holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and a Master’s degree from Yale University.
